ONE $20 DRESS, WORN 4 WAYS

Hey y'all!

Happy Thursday...aka Friday junior ;) Today I wanted to share a styling post with this adorable dress! I picked this up recently and I'm completely in love. It is super affordable ($20 on sale!!) and I just think its the perfect transitional piece between summer and fall. Its light and flowy but has the most beautiful fall colors.

One way I like to make sure that I'm spending my money wisely and buying things that are good staple pieces is to think of at least a handful of ways I could wear the item before purchasing. That way, you aren't getting something that will just sit in the back of your closet.

This dress is the perfect piece to pick up and I'm going to show you four different ways you can wear it so its definitely worth the $20 price tag!

I wore this look to church recently, which goes to show this dress is also great for summer. I paired some simple sandals and a hat -- I just love the boho vibes.

One of my favorite ways to wear dresses is with sweaters knotted over. It is a great way to add warmth, dimension and just another texture. This mustard sweater is one of my favorites. It pulls the colors from the dress really well!

To me, a utility jacket is a major staple. I consider army green a neutral, so I just threw it on over this dress. You could easily swap my $22 suede mules out for booties and this look is great for taking this dress even further into fall.

Again, I think hats are the best because it makes a really fun statement. It also covers up a bad hair day, so that's a double win ;) Throwing on some simple slides makes for an easy look that is great for running out the door quickly!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Thanks so much for reading. I hope you found it helpful if you're looking for a great staple piece to add to your fall wardrobe. Would you want to see this kind of post for more items? Be sure to let me know in a comment down below!
